Sixth Form Open Evening

Dear Year 11 Students and Parents

We are delighted to invite you to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 13 November 2025.  This event will be held in our Theatre at Shenley Brook End School.

Event Details:

• Time: Doors open at 5.30pm and the event will conclude by 7.45pm.
• Talks: There will be two identical 30-minute presentations at 5.45pm and 6.45pm, delivered by myself, Mr McCluskey, and our Head Students.  You are very welcome to stay afterwards to ask questions.

To help manage attendance, please book your preferred talk via Eventbrite HERE.  We expect the event to be busy, so please book in advance, as this will help you plan your evening and ensure you have time to speak with your child’s potential Sixth Form teachers.

What to Expect:

• The event will take place in Phase 3 of the school.  Maps will be provided, and our current Sixth Form students will be available to guide you around.
• All Sixth Form subject areas will be located in this one section, making it easy to explore different options and speak with teachers and students.
• You will have the opportunity to ask questions about our courses and hear directly from our current Sixth Formers about their experiences.

Additional Information:

• The new Sixth Form Prospectus will be available on the school website from 4.00pm on the day of the event.
• You will also be able to start your child’s application via our online platform, Applicaa, which will be linked on our website on the day of the event from 4.00pm.

For Shenley Brook End School Students:  You will receive your Applicaa login details before the event.  You will only need to select your chosen A-Levels.

For External Applicants:  You will be required to complete the full application form via Applicaa.
