We are delighted to celebrate another strong set of A Level, BTEC and vocational results achieved by our Year 13 students.  Their success is a testament to the effort, determination and perseverance they have shown during their Sixth Form journey.  Supported by dedicated staff and families, they have overcome challenges and embraced opportunities to reach this important milestone.  As they take their next steps into employment, apprenticeships or further and higher education, we wish them every success.  We are particularly proud of how they have embodied the values of kindness, respect and hard work throughout their time at Shenley Brook End School, qualities that were evident in the positive atmosphere on results day.

 

This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the outstanding student leadership within our school.  Led by our Head Students, Caitlyn and Lavasht, and supported by a dedicated team, our student leaders make a significant contribution to school life, helping to shape and improve our community while adding real value to events such as our whole-school Culture Day.

 

Many of these successes have been made possible through our partnership within the 5 Dimensions Trust.  Together with our partner schools, we raise expectations, share expertise and learn from one another, creating even greater opportunities for our students.  We are excited to see Sixth Form students across the Trust working more closely together in the future, further enriching an already diverse and engaging educational experience through events such as the 5D cup.

 

Many of our students have successfully secured places at their first-choice destinations, with some achieving this while overcoming significant challenges beyond school.  These outstanding outcomes are a testament to the determination and resilience of our students, alongside the unwavering support and guidance provided by the Sixth Form team.  We are also proud of our 5 Dimensions Trust Basketball Academy students, who have achieved excellent academic results while continuing to make a valuable contribution to life at Shenley Brook End School and dedicating countless hours to training and representing the 5 Dimensions Trust.

 

We are proud to report that 17% of all the grades achieved at Shenley Brook End School were at A or A*.  The students listed below highlight the superb achievements and prestigious destinations of this great year group.  We have included their previous schools as we value the important part they have played in our students’ journey.

• Woody achieved D*D*D* * is staying at Shenley Brook End School.
• Arhant achieved A*, A*, A*, A * is going on to study Discrete Mathematics at the University of Warwick.
• Kasper achieved A, A, A* * is going on to study Architecture at Cardiff University.
• Ben achieved A*, A*, A* is going on to study Economics and Mathematics at University of Bath.
• Samuel achieved A*, A*, A*, A* and is going on to study Chemistry at the University of Oxford. (Priory Rise School).
