All in-year applications should be made directly to Shenley Brook End School. The guidelines and in-year application form are available below.
This application form should be completed if you are seeking admission to Shenley Brook End School for a child in Years 7–11 after the normal point of entry (Year 7 in September). Please note that Shenley Brook End School is an oversubscribed school, with more applications than places available; as a result, many applications are unsuccessful each year.
If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please do not complete this form. Instead, contact the Local Authority Special Educational Needs Team on 01908 253414, who will advise on the appropriate admissions process.
To process your application, you must provide confirmation of your child’s date of birth and proof of address, demonstrating that you and your child reside at the address stated on the application form. Shenley Brook End School reserves the right to make enquiries to verify the information provided. If a place is offered based on false, inaccurate, or misleading information, the offer may be withdrawn.
Please note that it is not the policy of Shenley Brook End School to admit children to a year group above or below their chronological age.
All sections of the application form must be completed, and all required documentation must be provided. Failure to do so may delay the processing of your application.
If no place is available, you will be notified in writing and informed of your right to request an independent appeal. Further information on the appeal process is provided above. Please note that verbal or telephone applications will not be accepted.
