A Level Success

Our Year 13 students should be rightly proud of a great set of A level, BTEC and vocational results. It’s great to see their efforts rewarded after their time at Shenley Brook End School. The students' hard work and the excellent support from parents, Sixth Form teachers and the Sixth Form leadership have culminated in a group of students that we know will be successful in their next destinations, whether that be an apprenticeship, further or higher education.

During their time at Shenley Brook End School our Year 13 students have strived to embody our values of being kind, being respectful and working hard, these were on full display today and it was a pleasure to see our students sharing in their successes together and with us.

The students listed below highlight the superb achievements and prestigious destinations of this great year group. 10% of all our students achieved A or A* in all their A level qualifications.  We have included their previous schools as we know they will be interested to see how their much-loved former students have progressed, and we value the important part they have played in our students’ journey.

 · Oliver Small achieved A*, A*, A and is going onto study Medicine at the University of Liverpool (Long Meadow)

· Desniella Osae achieved A, A, B and is embarking on a Degree Apprenticeship, (Priory Rise)

· Saif Darr achieved A*, A*, A and is going onto study Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London (Caroline Haslett)

· Isla Wallace achieved A*, A*, A and is going onto study History and Sociology at the University of Leeds (Giles Brook School)

· Omar Hussein achieved A, A, A and is going onto Mathematics at Bristol University (Emerson Valley)

· Athena Azizi achieved A*, A, A and is going onto study Animation Production at Arts University Bournemouth (Qatar)

Although around 70% of students attend university each year, we have some outstanding Apprenticeship destinations:

- Ishaan Dhanji – KPMG, (Giles Brook Primary School)

- Nelson Garratt - DevOps for Amazon, (Eaton Mill Primary School)

- Louis Hansen - Alpine Formula 1 Team - Level 3

- Millie Ramscar - Business apprenticeship with the Mears Group PLC - Level 3

Well done to everyone and best of luck in the future.
