Read the extracts, short stories and poems in the 'Gothic Horror Reader' provided, then work through this choice of tasks:

1. Choose one story or poem and transform it into a graphic novel or comic strip. 
2. Design your own Gothic Horror creature.  Draw an image and write a detailed description of it in the Gothic Horror style.
3. Turn your house into a Gothic Horror setting.  Describe it in the style of a Gothic Horror story.
