Congratulations go to all our A level students on their exam success this summer in what has proved to be our most successful year ever. 56% of exam results were at A*-B and 99% at A*-E. We are delighted that 27% of entries were at A*-A of which over 7% were A*. Three students attained places at Oxbridge and one at Imperial College to study medicine. 14 students were awarded straight A*/As.
Most importantly of all, nearly every single student gained their desired place at university. We wish them every success in their future studies.

GCSE RESULTS Following on from these outstanding A level results, the school is celebrating its best ever GCSE results. 99% of all students achieved 5 A*-C with 69% attaining English and maths at grades A*-C.
25% of all entries were at A*-A and 10% of all entries at A*. The number of students gaining 10 or more A*-A grades has more than doubled with 14% of the year group achieving 10 or more A*-As, meaning one in seven students have attained exceptionally high results.

The school was inspected on 25 March 2009.
The whole school was judged oustanding in all categories, and the sixth form was judged to be good with outstanding features.
