Exam Success
A LEVEL SUCCESS

Congratulations go to all our A level students on their exam success this summer in what has proved to be our most successful year ever.  56% of exam results were at A*-B and 99% at A*-E.  We are delighted that 27% of entries were at A*-A of which over 7% were A*.  Three students attained places at Oxbridge and one at Imperial College to study medicine.  14 students were awarded straight A*/As.

Most importantly of all, nearly every single student gained their desired place at university.  We wish them every success in their future studies.

GCSE RESULTS

Following on from these outstanding A level results, the school is celebrating its best ever GCSE results.  99% of all students achieved 5 A*-C with 69% attaining English and maths at grades A*-C.

25% of all entries were at A*-A and 10% of all entries at A*.  The number of students gaining 10 or more A*-A grades has more than doubled with 14% of the year group achieving 10 or more A*-As, meaning one in seven students have attained exceptionally high results.

Congratulations go to all our students in their success with a huge thank you to staff and parents for their support.
Parent Governor Vacancy
Could you be a school governor?
Shenley Brook End School has a vacancy for a school governor
If you are interested in becoming a partnership governor then read on! Governors are local people and parents at the school who meet to support the school in its development.  They are part of a team that works together to ensure that all pupils can develop as individuals and receive a good quality education.  As a governor you can make a difference to children and their future opportunities, as well at to the local community.  Governors do not need any special qualifications but an interest in the local community, a willingness to learn new skills and some spare time can help! If you would like further information please do not hesitate to contact the clerk by email at .

Pupils, parents of children at the school, elected members of the local authority and employees of the school or local authority are not eligible to be partnership governors, however they are able to nominate a member of the community.
