— Support Staff Current Vacancies —

PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO HEADTEACHER.

Grade 5 £17,980-£21,734 per annum, actual salary £15,317-£18515 per annum. 

The hours are 37 per week, Monday to Thursday 8.15am-4.15pm, Friday 8.15am-3.45pm, term time plus training days (39 weeks a year, you will be paid for 44.3 weeks which includes entitlement to holiday pay). 

You will have secretarial experience with the ability to manage the very busy schedule of the Headteacher. You will undertake termly statutory returns so experience of SIMS would be considered an advantage, although training will be provided. You need to have good organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage your workload, the motivation to provide timely support, have excellent IT skills and the ability to work under pressure

TEACHING ASSISTANTS – Grade 3 and Grade 4. 

Grade 3 £13,725-£16,215 per annum pro-rata, actual salary £10,270-£12,133 per annum.

Grade 4 £15,882 - £18,638 per annum pro-rata, actual salary £11,884-£13,947 per annum. 

The hours are 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week, term time plus training days, 39 weeks a year (you will be paid for 44.3 weeks which includes entitlement to holiday pay). 

Job share (8.30am to 12.30pm and 12.30pm to 3.30pm) will be considered.  Please state clearly in your application if you wish to be considered for a job share post and state the grade you are applying for.

Joining our Support for Learning team you will support individuals or small groups of students in mainstream lessons across the key stages.  You are required to have a minimum of GCSE Grade C in maths and English language (or equivalent).

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT APPRENTICESHIP
Required to commence as soon as possible


One year Fixed Term Contract. Apprenticeship rate of £111 for 37 hours per week (52 weeks per year). Varying shift hours between 6.30am and 10.00pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working.

We require a Facilities Management Apprentice for our outstanding and busy school. Your duties will include repairs, maintenance, painting and decorating, portering and cleaning duties. You must be a team player, have good communication skills and be able to use your initiative. You will take part in on-the-job training and be assessed whilst at work to attain Level 2 Certificate in Facilities Services.

CASUAL STAFF
Required to commence as soon as possible
Under 21 rate of £6.44 including holiday pay and, 21 and over rate of £7.07 including holiday pay.

We are looking for casual staff whose duties could include putting up and taking down exam tables, painting, cleaning or working in the sports centre.

The request may be at short notice, include evenings up to 10.00pm or weekends. You do not need to be available all of the time, but just be interested in working some times during the academic year.
