New fitness suite.

In June 2007, to enhance the existing sporting facilities, Shenley Brook End School will be opening a new purpose built fitness suite, with 2 new private changing facilities attached to the existing busy sports centre.

The fitness suite will be open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 21:30 and weekends from 09:30 to 17:00.

The fitness suite will have a range of new equipment supplied by Cybex.

• Recumbent and upright cycles.
• Rowing machines.
• Assisted chin / dip machine.
• Treadmills.
• Cross training machines.
• A chest press.
• A torso rotation machine.
• A shoulder press machine.
• A range of resistance weights.
• A cable weight training machine.

For your comfort and security, the fitness suite will be air conditioned and entry will be strictly controlled by a personal security access card.

An introductory opening for membership will be at a reduced rate of £20 per month or £200 for the year if paid in advance. As part of the introductory offer, a one off admin fee will be £15, there will not be a charge for an induction session.

Payment will be accepted initially by cheque or by standing order.

For child protection reasons, persons under the age of 16 years of age will not be permitted access to the fitness suite.

At published times during the week, there may be some school pupils attending lessons in the fitness suite supervised by teaching staff.
